I woke up that morning around 1:00 pm. I was still groggy from the previous night and I didn’t yet have all my senses about me. I heard some kind of happy video game music playing somewhere in my house. I stumbled from my bed and I threw on a t-shirt and jeans. The bright light from the sun seemed to singe my eyes as I stepped out of my dark room. The only thing on my mind as I drug myself down the hall way was Lucky Charms. As I gulped down my magically delicious bowl of goodness, I could still hear that weird video game-like music playing its continuous melody somewhere unknown in my house. I didn’t remember playing any games the night before, so it was curious to me as to where the music was coming from. I left my kitchen and followed the sound of the music upstairs. I continued down the hallway to find that the music was actually coming from my room. I guess I could understand not knowing that it was on in my room considering the state I was in when I woke up this morning, but it was the music from Super Mario Brothers, and I didn’t have that game. The game was on pause, so I picked up the controller and pressed the start button. The screen went blank and the music stopped. Oh well, I beat that game when I was a kid anyway. I then realized it was Saturday. My package should have come, word. I walked downstairs when I heard that Super Mario Brothers music again, except this time it seemed to be coming from outside.
