	In The Time Of The Butterflies
	In the Dominican Republic, there is a family of three sisters (nicknamed the marabel sisters), mother, and father. They have all have a happy life until Trujillo steps into their life’s. Trujillo is the current leader of the Dominican Republic. The four sisters are Minerva, Patria, Dede, Maria Theresa. Minerva is very political and so she announces to the family that she wants to be a lawyer. This is against Trujillo, so she’s constantly put at risk. The marabel sisters always had to ask for anything they wanted. But then they got sent to school. Minerva makes a friend and gives her a butterfly pendant resembling friendship. In exchange her friend gives her also a pendant. Approximate Word count = 445 Approximate Pages = 1.8 (250 words per page double spaced)
