Taxation of the wealthy

FOR: Taxation of the wealthy
The theory of classical republicanism would highly support the taxation of the wealthy for a number of reasons. Taxing the wealthy would have a very positive affect on society, and better the common good of society. ... It also makes more sense that the wealthy be taxed more than people who have middle and lower incomes to avoid hurting a vast majority of the people living in a society. People in the middle/lower class income range should not have to foot the majority of the bill of government expenses entirely on their own, rather the wealthy should pay a large percentage of it.
