Report Main Problem As Rio Cosmetics is preparing for the competition, the employees seem to be being forgotten rather than involved in the changes occurring within the company. From the case study, we can see that the workforce is suffering from a lack of experience and repetitive tasks within their jobs. Because of a lack of experience, there are not many responsibility positions available to current workers. This has resulted in the workforce become de-motivated. The main area that has helped this situation grow to the current problem is the lack of communication and involvement the employee’s have with the management and the business as a whole. Recommended Solution A way of combating the problem is to establish a new involvement process for the staff to voice concerns and suggestions about the business. This would increase morale for the workforce, as they will feel a valued part of the company. Another suggestion would be to promote internal advertising for promotions within the company as this would increase staff motivation and empower workers to work harder to achieve new goals.
