A Tree Grows In Brooklyn really just made me realize that lifes not fair for a lot of people, Im not the only one dealing with this problem, and its a little reassuring for me to know that there are others in this world going through the same stuff. ... Then there was the tree that never gave up. This tree was very special and is mentioned so many times throughout A Tree Grows In Brooklyn because it grew in the tenants district, and the tree grew out of the cement in a bad neighborhood and survived.
