Pursuing a Masters degree in Clinical- Neuropsychology will strongly complement my undergraduate /graduate studies in clinical psychology, and my clinical and research work in neuropsychology and behavioral neuroscience. While excellent clinical opportunities exist in many of the universities in Ontario, Universities of Queen, Waterloo and Western Ontario are structured after the scientist –practitioner model with a strong research component. University of Waterloo has a top ranked research program with faculty who have a wide variety of research interests. At Queens University I would like to work with Dr’s Richard Benninger and Hans Dringenberg whose primary research interests involves learning/ memory and schizophrenia. At University Of Western Ontario, Dr Stefan Köhler is well known for his work in cognitive –behaviour neuroscience and schizophrenia.
