Death Penalty - Yes or No?
Lethal injection, the electric chair, the gas chamber, these are all a few of the means by which the United States Government carries out the death sentence. In Pennsylvania the early colonists first employed the death penalty in the late 1600’s(Cor State). The death penalty is not a federal matter, it is up to the particular state to determine the severity of each crime, and deal accordingly. The death penalty is an unnecessary punishment and is a complete violation of the constitution and morality in itself.
Many would argue that the death penalty is a cruel and unusual form of punishment, and the death penalty is in fact, punishment. Those who qualify for the death penalty have committed one or more murders.
