Bilingual Education vs English only schools

... Like you wished you knew what they were saying or that they could just speak in English. ...
So should schools eliminate bilingual education and take an English-only approach? ... That would keep certain students form getting the best education possible. In the 1960’s, during the Civil Rights movement, Congress passed the Bilingual Act of 1968 that provides funding to schools to encourage bilingual classes. ... S born or an immigrant, we should be able to take bilingual classes to communicate with each other.
In my opinion, bilingual education is a great thing to be able to have. Like I said before, communication is the most important thing in our everyday lives and why not teach children from a young age to be bilingual.
