SYNOPSIS: Daynor Chemical Company currently occupies 40% of the market share for MDA. Because of the environmental issues surrounding the disposal of liquid based MDA, they've been developing, for 4 years, a new dry formulation, which can be stored in water soluble bags. There are many issues that this company will have to tend to with the production of this new MDA chemical. They have to come up with an optimum package size (for both the water-soluble and the over pack packages for the dry formulation) and also set a profitable price for this new product. CORE PROBLEM: Because of the demand of environmentally safer chemical products and the disposal of products, how should the new dry formula been priced and what format do you use to effectively package and sell this new idea to the various segments (potato & tobacco)?
