	Achilles and Hector are both seen as savage and fierce warriors on the battlefield, but also compassionate and kind-hearted at the same time. There are many incidents throughout the story that show Achilles as being a feared warrior. This is shown when Achilles seeks revenge because of the death of his beloved companion, Patrocalus. With fiery rage, Achilles confronts Hector. Fearful and self-doubting, Hector flees. ... He knows that he is no match for the skills and strength that Achilles possesses during battle.
