In the movie Wall Street by Oliver Stone, a young stockbroker named Bud Fox falls under the influence of a powerful master market manipulator by the name of Gordon Gecko. At first, Bud worked as a typical stockbroker making voluntary exchanges with his clients and companies. After meeting with Bud, Gecko feels impressed with his resourcefulness he takes Bud into his office. Gecko gradually mentors Bud in the fine art of insider trader using positive economics that guide Bud in the inside world of the market economy. Bud Fox gets highly influenced by different incentives that allow him to make lots of money and be powerful. Like Gecko, he wants to be on the other end of the phone and make the “real money.” All the stockbrokers including Gecko himself have IBMs and other modernize computers as their goods to help their business.
