Youth In Prison
The “model program” that was put into effect and expressed in the novel, “Youth in Prison”, was a way to rehabilitate youths back into society. The goal of this program was to provide the youth’s with an alternative, new innovative solution to meaningless incarceration. Its purpose was to give the youth’s more respect and teach them how to deal with their problems and eventually be positive, active citizens in their communities. ... Some of these youth’s had never had single rooms before.
