All of these attributes ultimately are the cause for the death of not only the grandmother but also the entire family. The grandmother’s negative attributes were the cause of not only her death but the death of her family.
The grandmother showed that she was stubborn by bringing the cat on the trip to Florida. Bailey, the grandmother’s son told her not to bring the cat on the trip because he did not want to bring an animal with them to a motel. ... ” The grandmother is being stubborn and goes against her son’s will and brings the cat which turns out to be the cause of the accident. ... ” If the grandmother were not so stubborn and would have listened to Bailey then the accident would not have happened.
The grandmother was manipulative in the way she convinced her son to drive off course to go see a house she once visited. As the family was on the trip the grandmother began to day dream about her childhood. ... She knew that Bailey would not be willing to lose any time looking at an old house, but the more she talked about it, the more she wanted to see it once again and find out if the little twin arbors were still standing.
