A federal appeals court ruled that reciting the Pledge of Allegiance in public schools is an unconstitutional "endorsement of religion" because of the addition of the phrase "under God". After so many years, could we honestly proclaim that our one nation is no longer under God?
Numerous quotes from our Founding Fathers’ refer to God in the building of this great country. Patrick Henry in 1775 referred to God in his famous speech that ended with “Give me liberty, or give me death." Every President since George Washington, every member of Congress and every judge who has sat on the Supreme Court has taken their Oath of Office with one hand on the Bible, swearing to God to uphold the duties of their office. How can our leaders of today in those positions now consider abandoning God in our National Motto? ... "A declaration of God in the Pledge of Allegiance doesnt violate rights.
