EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The research was done in order to identify if there was a clearly defined profile of the Business Administration department at LCC and if LCC prepared its business students for a certain industry. ... Objectives of four universities were evaluated in order to compare them to LCC objective of the Business Administration Department. ... Still others (Kaunas University of Technology, Vilnius University, International School of Management) have clearly stated objectives, explain the profile of their graduates, and state the industries available for their graduates’ employment. ... Every one of them replied that LCC Business Administration department prepares workers for any industry. LCC graduates can start and usually do start from the lower level management or administrators positions and grow. Among the qualities and skills of LCC business graduates mentioned critical thinking, good English, additional Psychology or Sociology knowledge, written and oral communication skills, business ethics understanding, and seeing different perspectives at a time. ... LCC Business department prepares this kind of specialists. ... Faculty members as well as the graduates agreed that LCC prepares workers for any industry.
The recommendation was addressed to the LCC Marketing department. LCC web site and the booklets should contain accurate and specific information concerning the program, profile, and industry prospective for LCC business graduates. ... However, the conclusions and recommendations that we came up with were addressed to the Marketing Department of LCC. We highly recommend the department to pay more attention to promotion and the message LCC has for the perspective students and their supporters.

Our group decided to find out whether LCC has defined objective for the Business Administration department and whether the department has profile. For this purpose we studied the LCC web site, contacted Career Development Center, surveyed graduates, faculty, and students. ...
We hope that this study will assist in preparing different projects within LCC. We also hope that our recommendations will be used in order to eliminate the misunderstanding by the students and their parents, and in order for LCC to maintain the image of Christian institution with highly ethical approach. ...
Week 1: 1st formal meeting, choosing the topic, consultation with Vaidas Levickis, consultation with Bonnie Straight;
Week 2: approval of the topic by the instructor Reuben Stob, decision on the research methods, assigning the research directions – Lithuanian Universities and CDC;
Week 3: further research, Universities’ analysis, connecting graduates;
Week 4: preparation for the focus group, focus group held on April 9, consultation with Student Business Organization (we received invitation to come to their next meeting in order to have focus group);
Week 5: SBO cancelled their meeting, SBO members did not agree to participate in the focus group because of the differences in schedules and their busyness;
Week 6: writing the body of the report, preparation for the presentation, surveying the SBO members;
Week 7: compiling the final report, writing supplementary parts. ... We assumed it was already existent group of business students within LCC. ...

In order to understand if the studied problem is only of LCC or is it Lithuanian problem, we decided to evaluate the programs and objectives (promotion) of other Lithuanian universities.
