What is Music?
After reviewing my notes and other various sources in order to write this paper I have come to the conclusion that music cannot be exactly defined. Each individual defines music differently. Music can be everything and nothing simultaneously to any type of person. Defining music is like trying to define love or any other form of emotion. There are not exact words that describe music. However, there are guidelines to making up the principles of music and this is what this paper will mostly focus on.
Even though music cannot be exactly defined, it can help to define many things. The type of music that you listen to helps define the person that you are. The types of music that we have studied from different countries help to define those places.
