What Parents Want vs What Children want

The authors also pointed out that even obedient children who do as they are told still have willful thoughts. Ni-Kan shows us that good children will disappoint their parents over and over; not because theyre bad, but because they can only be who they are, themselves. ... All these stories show children in this world are forced to grow up and will understand the real world one day by themselves, no matter how immature or naďve they may be.
