I thought that Citizen Cane was a pretty good movie as is and a very good movie for its time. The story line is very interesting and kind of just forces you to think about some controversial issues such as wealth, power, abuse and many other things too. I thought that it was really cool that they just kind of decided to make a movie that was so similar to someone’s life. It was impossible that it could just be that coincidental, and they just decided to just not really mention the fact to the person or the audience and just let the idea hang there in the back of your mind. Is it really a film based loosely on William Randolf Hearst even though it does not claim to be? I can imagine that Hearst was very, very mad at the fact that someone just decided to through his life on a movie screen. On top of that, they played around with it a little, and added their own ending.
