For every individual getting a name and the meaning of this name is very important. By getting the name, the society verifies the existence of the individual. Also in Islam culture the name of the baby is said by the imam to his ears. Not only is the verification of the individual’s existence by the society important, but the meaning of the name also has a role. A name which is given to a somebody somehow influenced his or her lifelong . People are influenced by names when they meet somebody for the first time. They can make predictions about the person’s properties when first they hear the name. To illustrate in the Turkish Culture you may understand that whether a person comes from a religious family or not if his name is Muhammet, Ýsa, Musa or Ali.
