Upon walking through the door, at first one would go on to think, it looks the
typical room of a teen, complete with yesterday’s laundry scattered throughout, blankets
thrown about the bed, and of course no teen’s room is complete without the stereo.
Hopefully, my visitor would not be scared off by the look or stench of it, because
as it is commonly said, looks can be deceiving. ... Taking a closer look one would notice the amount of
dust that covers my, “Most Valuable Player” trophies that every player receives, made to
boost the player’s confidence, to the thin layer covering my County Championship trophy
where only one team receives it in the county. ... On any
given day, you can usually find some of the classics from the great Billy Joel, a popular
hip-hop artist singing about how he/she made it through tough times, or even just
some soothing sound effects that depict the ocean during thunderstorms. ... I
really have a lot of respect for her as a person as well as a recording artist (not just
because I think she’s hot) Many people, not knowing much about her only think of her as
a trashy pop-gone-wrong singer, where I tend to look between the lines and think about
all the speed bumps that she encountered in her life as a child, to get where she is today.
