... This scene used high key lighting in a very important way where as the other scenes all used low key lighting.
The high key lighting used is represented as being natural, as the scene is set outdoors with lots of colourful flowers, shrubs and trees.
I know that the lighting has been ‘made up’ though due to the fact that there are no shadows and contrast of light on the characters faces, every expression they make is shown in detail.
This would not be the case though if the lighting was natural as the light would be bounced off and absorbed by the natural surroundings, this would result in shadows and patches of lightness and darkness.
