Marijuana, cocaine, LSD, methamphetamine: these are all serious and very illegal drugs. Flowing around are other types of drugs and legally available drugs, drugs like cough medicine, Robitussin, inhalants, or prescribed medications; many of these are over the counter (OTC’s) drugs. Would you classify these two different types of drugs in the same category? There are some people out there that are abusing the right to take drugs like cough medicine and Robitussin to get high and trip off of them, instead of the healing purposes the drugs are meant for. The idea of taking OTC drugs to get a high and not to cure is a very bad thought, for you can hurt yourself and others.
