Welcome to the promotion ceremony for the Parras class of 2003. I’d like to congratulate all the students in attendance this afternoon. We are all growing up emotionally, mentally, and physically. Today, the students who are being promoted will be receiving a ticket to move on and academically succeed. This ticket will lead us all down a bumpy dirt road but the ride will be an exhilarating one. After this, it’s our decision of what we want in our lives. This will be a stepping stone to a new volume of knowledge. Everyone has a purpose in life... a unique gift or special talent to show to the world. We are the new batch of kids, the new generation looking to make a difference. Remember, don’t just follow your dreams from the outside, you must step into them to make them successful.
