Chapter 19 “I don’t know Mom,” I exclaimed! “Well get in the car.” She yelled loudly. We hurried into the car and my mother drove us up to Underwood drive. When we reached Mrs. Schneider’s house Streaker had broken most of the windows already. Enraged and frightened Mother yelled “ Streaker!” “Get over here right now!!” “No!!” Streaker exclaimed. “Mrs. Schneider is a German, she is a Nazi like Mr. Trenker.” What are you talking about mother said surprised. “It doesn’t matter get in the car I have to go apologize to Mrs. Schneider.” Streaker finally gave up and walked to the car and got in. giving me a dirty look. I started to scold him but Skye stopped me and said just let him be. Reluctantly I shut up. The car was in silence the whole time while mother was going to apologize to Mrs. Schneider. In the meantime I was thinking about Grandpa. I now understood that he was Gentlehands, but feeling as though he no longer was. That he can be considered a totally new person. I wondered why all this was happening to me.
