Team Building
As a supervisor at one time or another I will need to address the issues of poor group performance and understanding why it is occuring. Very often poor performance is linked to three factors shown below:

It could be that the task has not been properly explained to the team and they are becoming frustrated at their inability to complete the task satisfactorily. It is known that frustration can lead to aggression as members of the team blame each other for the poor performance. Another reason could be that the skills within the team are too skewed.
This occurs when the skills required are only possessed by some members of the team, and therefore much of the work falls to them rather than others in the team, which may create a feeling that some of the team are not pulling their weight.
