22Who is the liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, even he that denieth the Father and the Son. 1 John 2:21-22 If you believe that Jesus is the Christ should you not believe and live by His teachings? every spirit that confesseth not Jesus is not of God: and this is the spirit of the antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it cometh; and now it is in the world already. 1 John 4:3 From this statement we know that the spirit of antichrist has been around for thousands of years. It’s nothing new. It is not exclusively something or someone who will appear in the last days. We have to be constantly on guard for such characters. For many deceivers are gone forth into the world, even they that confess not that Jesus Christ cometh in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. 8Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which we have wrought, but that ye receive a full reward.
