Macbeth's three distinctive transitions

Macbeth is now guilt-ridden with the murder of the King. As Duncan’s two sons flee the country, he turns his sights on his immediate threat and trusted friend: Banquo. This time, however, Macbeth does not murder Banquo himself but sends three murderers to kill for him. It is obvious that Macbeth still felt much quilt over Banquo’s murder when he sees Banquo’s ghost at the party he was throwing.
