There are two sections in our questionnaire: section A and section B. Section A is personal details, which helped us to find out general information about the respondents. Section B is all about respondents’ habits of drinking coffee, what kind of coffee shop they want and their opinions about Starbucks. In Section A, respondents gave their information about their gender, age and occupation. We divided these respondents into several groups by the information that showed in this section, after that, we compared and analysed the results from different groups. Female and male customers sometimes have different opinion about the price, environment and price of coffee shops. In different age levels, people might have different requirement about the environment factors, e.g. young people want more lively music in coffee shops, but older people want soft music for relax or reading. Section B is about the respondents’ habits of drinking coffee and what kind of coffee shop they want in Loughborough. In this section, respondents answered questions about their habits of drinking coffee, from the result, we found out their requirement of coffee shops including location, price, product, environment and service. In addition, we found out the strengths and weaknesses of Starbucks coffee shop in Loughborough. The first two and the sixth and seventh questions are about the general habits of drinking coffee, from these four questions, we got the information about the consumption of coffee in Loughborough and the best location for a coffee shop.
