...o go up in flames. Since then, my brother has been kicked out of our house and put out on the streets, living by himself since he was eighteen. He has lost his drivers license for drinking and driving, he's lost jobs for being irresponsible, and on top of that, he lies about anything there is to lie about. He has lost all of my parent’s trust that they ever had in him, and my family and many who know him consider him a very serious alcoholic. He is to the point where my family wants him to hit rock bottom so that he may be able to see what he has done to his life, or what he has not done with his life. More recently, he has started to get himself out of the hole he used to be in, but he never really got life. He still does not understand what it takes to get out of the mess he was in. He did not, and still does not pay bills; he just does what he wants to do and expects stuff to go away. He has been able to win the heart of a girl who he is engaged to, yet I feel they will never marry because of financial reasons. She has been the one for the past year and a half to comfort him and take him in, and he still does the same shit and lies to her about everything. He doesn’t stand up for himself when it comes to his friends, and he does everything they want him to. To him it is as if his friends are more important than his fiancé and family. He has a good job as an outside salesman for a manufacturing distributor company, and if he would just be smart with his money he could be well off with his and his fiancé’s pay together.
