Acquired immune deficiency syndrome threatens million of sexually active men and women. AIDS is a medical problem. There is no cure at this time. It will be years before we find a cure for AIDS. Those who have the viruses and are a symptomatic live almost normal lives. Those with full-blown AIDS are vulnerable to cancer. Acquired immune deficiency syndrome collapse is the body’s ability to combat the diseases that a healthy immune system fights without difficulty, and the diseases usually cause the death of the average person with full-blown AIDS within 18 months after diagnosis.
