my story
...l stepped in. I smiled at her but she just stood listening to the teachers lecture and glaring at me. Andy have a seat please the teacher said to her. She looked around but the only other empty seat was right next to mine. Suddenly sitting in the front did not seem so bad. I actually looked forward to it. Physics became my favorite class, and believe me it was not because of the teacher. After I apologized for making the teacher lecture her we became friends. I used love going to class just so I could spend time with her. I loved talking to her she was really smart and she would come up with the most interesting things to say. She volunteered at the soup kitchens an raised money for charities. She was amazing she was smart, beautiful, and cared about others. I could never pay attention in class, I could not stop looking at her. I loved the way she laughed, the way her hair gleamed when she moved, the way she smiled, I loved everything about her. I wanted to ask her out, to tell her how I felt but I was scared, what if she rejected me. So I kept quiet, and every day I feel more and more in love with her. I had never felt like this before, I would do anything for this girl. So I decided I would tell Andy how I felt the next time I saw her. That night I had dinner with Christine we had become friends. I was about to introduced Christine as my friend, but then she linked her arm through mine and said that she was my girl friend. I looked at Christine when did this happen I thought. I was about to say something, but my mom started hugging me and Christine and telling us how happy she was for us. My mother knew how rich and powerful the Ritchie’s were and she thought that it was a great match. Christine then left and I tried to explain that she was not my girl friend and that I liked another girl. Oh nonsense my mother said shutting me up, Christine is the right girl for you we are of the same social class. This other girl is a commoner, and I will not let you disgrace this family but having a relationship with her. Get this girl out of your mind and if you break up with Christine I will never speak to you again my mother continued. She was serious she would not listen to anything I said. She did not care that I did not love Christine all that mattered to her was what family Christine was from. Tomorrow we will also go shopping for a ring she said and I will have you propose to her and close the deal before you do anything stupid and wreck it. I did not want to do it but I had to or else my mother would hate me, and I am not even sure Andy likes me I tried convincing myself. So I agreed to do what my mother said. The next day I went shopping with my mother and bought a beautiful diamond ring. I kept thinking that it would look better on Andy’s hand and wishin...
