By not caring about anything else but one’s country, and to get the whole nation in one’s hands. This results in the creation of many enemies, and the start of several wars. If governments instigate nationalism, they are also promoting violence as well. People in the country learn that the only way to get what one wants is to fight for it, instead of talking things over. Nationalism gives people a feeling of being free, and with that being said, lots will feel free to do whatever they want. When people are getting what they want and doing what they want, it is a natural insticnt for them to become greedy. This could conclude with everyone being out of contol. People braking the law, not listening to authorities, and overall a brake down in social structure. Finally nationalism can substance in discrimination against minorities. Take Canada for instance.
