These practices are enforced on others because of built up anger. A child who is brought up by both parents, goes to school, church and activities are oversee by parents and is shown love is less likely to commit a crime than a child who was brought up by one parent who is never home or shows no love. Although in both cases there is a chance of an unlawful act to occur the first child will always think twice. In 2002 statistics shows that 25-6 per cent household were headed by a single parent, 6.8 per cent by a separated parent, 8.4 per cent by a common law union and 8.7 per cent by a widow parent. There were 42.52 per cent married couple households and females headed 36 per cent of house hold. Lack of male in a home leads to problems, a female alone can not control her son. Parents who abuse their children, neglect them, don’t supervise or provide clothing and don’t monitor their school attendance are more likely to produce juvenile delinquents. The bible says an “eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth” but it also states “do unto to others as you would have them do unto you”. These statements are taken and used out of context in modern society. It can be said they formatted these statements into revenge. Revenge increases the crime rate. Take this scenario for example if a young girl was raped and killed by a man, he goes to prison and the family grieves the lost of their love one, the man is released from prison, as soon as the family hear this, a plot is made to inflict danger on his household.
