...h Antigone really does care for Polyneices. I believe that Antigone should do what she thinks is the right thing to do for her brother. In the beginning of the story Polyneices dies and is left out for all the people to see. Polyneices was Antigone’s brother and he was also the brother of King Creon. Polyneices was a good man and when he died King Creon left him out for the whole town to see, which was very wrong. Creon should have had enough loyalty in him to bury his own brother, but her didn’t. Many people were disturbed by Polyneices lying out in the open, especially Antigone. Antigone goes crazy over her brother just being laid out in the open like that is she wanted to take matters into her own hands. King Creon had made an announcement that said that on one was to bury Polyneices. Creon was stirring up trouble and he didn’t even know what was about to head his way. Antigone loves her brother so much and hates to see him lying on the ground. Antigone wanted to bury her brother, but king Creon had made a rule that on one could bury him. Antigone disobeys Creon rule because she loves her brother too much to sit around and see her brother on the ground dead. Antigone will do anything but watch her brother lye on the ground. Antigone was caught burying her brother and is now being brought to king Creon. King Creon asks if Antigone really did bury Polyneices and she said, “Yes, I did bury my brother.” King Creon gets very upset with Antigone and doesn’t believe what she did, he was in shock.
