We need to understand the whole concept of marriage before we consider the debate over the whole issue of gay marriage. Traditionally, marriage has been considered as a union between a man and woman who unite themselves to build a new family. Most religious texts across the world regard “marriage” as a sacred institution. ... In many societies across the world, especially in the Asian world, a broken marriage comes with a lot of stigma. Time has changed and people’s ideas have begun to change, even when it comes to the concept of birth, marriage and life. Gay marriage is one issue that confronts our society today. ... ” My argument is that gay marriage is wrong because it undermines the concept of building families, which is the purpose of marriage.
Let us look at what the people who vouch for gay marriage have to say. A lot of people regard marriage as an opportunity of being with the person they love. Advocates of gay marriage say that life is all about happiness no matter what sex they are in love with.
