Speed Limits are Useless
...4 million dollars in industry. That is 112 329 tickets/day, 4680/hour that is more than 1.3 tickets/second. IMPRESSIVE. There are so many speeders out there and that’s why there are 40 million tickets given out every year and the government is saying that 99% of the people are offenders. The speed limits need to be changed, they’re useless! If slow is what they believe to be safe, then how can they explain the use of unmarked police cars? Isn't a marked cruise car more effective than an unmarked one? When drivers see a marked police car, they will voluntarily slow down. Then isn't the goal already achieved? What is the purpose of using unmarked cop cars anyway? Deliberately setting the speed limit too low, and then sending a cop out in an unmarked vehicle to sneak behind motorists, is highway robbery disguised as traffic safety imposed. Speeding is an efficient way to arrive to your destination in times of hectic traffic trouble. Speeding is dangerous! Driving too slow is a hazardous! When they tell you that speed kills, the term "speed" really means "too fast for conditions", which is precisely why collisions occur. Speed limits are not always ideal, because of factors such as weather, road conditions, vehicle mechanical conditions and visibility; these traffic conditions are very unpredictable. There are actual traffic laws that allow you to speed 10% of the speed limit over in ideal weather conditions. When the police say they want to target dangerous drivers (including speeders), what they really do is they setup a speed trap on an open highway on a warm and sunny day (the least dangerous condition to go fast), perhaps with a bit of sneaky tactics too so that it is always too late to slow down! This is how the government, police and insurance industry manipulate the meaning of "speed" to get you to buy in to their propaganda. You are also allowed to exceed the limit for the duration you are in the oncoming traffic lane. A speedup and a slowdown grace period are allowed when passing other vehicle. As well, saying you were being chased by hoodlums in another car and feared for your life. In all these cases, speeding is allowed. Slow drivers are prone to accidents, because they can get in the way of the traffic flow. They get in the way of the traffic flow when they are driving on the left lane on the highway. The right lane was intended for a reason, slow drivers. Learners and Novices can be accepted as slow drivers since they are marked, though after driving for over 2 years with these signs, you are expected to know the traffic laws real...
