... If you would like to be alone then taking a walk, or doing vigorous household chores such as scrubbing the floor, beating the rugs or pounding pillows might relieve your stress. Even many sports ease your tension. Talking out problems relieves stress. While at college talk to a counselor, or call a friend if you would feel more comfortable talking to him or her about it. For those not in school or maybe who doesn’t have a few close friends that there not comfortable talking to, you could always talk to a minister, priest or rabbi at your church. If you don’t feel like you could talk to anyone then you could talk to a shrink if the problem is really bad. Taking breaks, long or short, relieves stress. Go to the beach even if you only have 5 minutes. Have your mate go to a movie with you or take a nap with you. The company would be great. You could start a new thing in your life, escape into a hobby- photography, bird watching or something else that you’ve always wanted to pick up but never did. Many people harm themselves trying to relieve stress verses trying the positive ways. Some people are known to be drinking too much or having other addictions like they overeat or smoke. So...
