In Manny's article "Greed is Good" he states "It’s the greed of the buyer, wanting to keep more of his hard earned cash, which causes him consider his buying options and purchase the least expensive product of the best quality, thereby creating market forces which eliminate inefficiency and waste." This is utter nonsense. What he calls greed I call common sense. Buying something for a good price is merely doing what one can to save at least a little bit of what one earns from the grubby GREEDY hands of the rich. In my opinion, by saying that a Clergyman is Greedy for seeking after the love of God you throw out the proper definition of the Word. Webster’s Dictionary defines greed as an "excessive desire to acquire or possess more than one needs or deserves." Exactly right. Greed is the desire to not only have enough but to have MORE than everyone else. And often times the only way you can achieve this goal, or at least pursue it, you must hurt other people. For example, Insurance companies, lawyers, frauds, the US Government. You can not be Greedy and seek after the love of God because the only way you can really experience it is by sharing it.
