If it were written with a different person as a narrator, readers would lose the lesson that Scout taught them about walking in other people‘s shoes. No other person could teach them that lesson accurately. Only she is able to teach readers this lesson. She teaches this theme through Boo Radley. Scout wanted to walk with Boo for a long time. When she finally was able to, she was able to see what he saw and knew how he felt. She wanted to prove the rumors wrong. This novel teaches three themes: the coexistence of good and evil/battle between two goods, education of children, and social class distinction. These three themes are irreversibly intertwined because they counterbalance each other. Since they are united, they teach the lessons well.
