...ound blackjack is post oak, and eastern red cedar. The information that also has been found on the water oak trees is that they grow in a swampy area or high-elevated ridges. It also grows where the soil is moist. It can hold up for months in seasonal flooding. Some of the people associate the water oak to the pecan and the white oak. It is also found in the subtropical climate. The other trees that I have researched is maple. I have found out about the maple tree is that it can handle the cold weather and the warm weather and it can be in a dry area to a very moist area and it does not need alot of sunlight to grow.
