...at taught me a valuable lesson such as the box lesson. During the box lesson our group got the worst things to use and we didn’t get any training. Just that much training shows how much better group one’s boxes turned out. I hope to get training at Stout for my future so I can “make a better box.” Another activity that taught me about myself and my future is the aptitude test. The aptitude test should me what I would like to do in college and as a future job in a very simple of way of taking a very simple test. But the lesson we did that taught me the most over anything is the spending log. I have never actually taken a step back to see how much money I actually spend in a week, it was insane since then I have saved more and more for college and a car. In the research reports I looked at many different schools such as Stout, NDSU, and even the local school Anoka Tech, and Hennipen Tech. But the school the caught my eye the most was Stout for its business programs and management programs. The occupation reports I looked at all the different types of jobs that fall under management and business, such as restaurant management, advertising, and even a male entertainer just in case as a back up plan. I looked at how much their wage is and the benefits for them even though I don’t know exactly what I want to be I have a verity of jobs to choose from and the reports have helped me select which jobs I don’t want to do for sure. Setting goals for myself is something I have done since I was a little boy and since I am older the goals are much harder to achieve and take time to achieve.
