Humanity
...ve stuff more than we love God as if God cannot replace it. You should not put your faith in stuff and people. You should put your faith in God he would provide all that you need and complete happiness. God did not intend for us to find joy and fulfillment in being idle. Because we were created in the Image of God, it stands to reason that God intended for us to be active. God is constantly active in the events of the world. The scriptures reveal He never sleeps nor slumbers. Being created in the image of God you are suppose to have faith in God, which the text defines as belief, trust, action, practice and personal insight. It is not enough to say we have faith; we must prove it. We prove that we have faith by the way we live our lives. When we say we have faith and live in a different way than our words indicate, we live a lie, not according to God’s Word. God will judge our faith by our actions and the way we live. If we live a life of faith, God will reward us, but our good example either converts sinners or condemns them. In the Book of Genesis, we find many faithful people of God. God’s first words to humanity indicated that we have the ability to choose. Adam was given direct command not to eat from a particular tree the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. However God was attempting to teach His child the importance of making wise decisions. Therefore in choosing to disobey the Creator, humanity discovered that it is unwise to disobey, and all sin of humanity has their cause in rejection of God’s authority. The Fall in the Garden did not change God’s love for humanity nor His plan and purpose for us. Generations had passed since the Fall in the Garden. Cain and Abel were the sons of Adam and Eve. Because Able offered an acceptable sacrifice and his brother did not, Cain killed him out of pride and jealousy, Adam and Eve experienced the pain of being parents of a murdered child. Abel’s murder at the hands of His own brother caused Cain to be sentenced to a life as a runaway. Rather than allowing Cain to be killed, God gave him a second chance by making him so no one would kill him Adam and Eve were also given a second chance when God blessed Eve to conceive and bare a son name Seth. God continued this pattern of liberally and lovingly giving mankind second chances until the time of Noah. The original sin Genesis 3:6 was followed by more sin. Total disregard for God was all over the place and any awareness of sin was completely rejected. There were no good intentions in the hearts of humans, leaving them constantly thinking and doing evil. In looking upon the earth at that time, God was sorry for creating humanity. It is not that God had made a mistake in creating humanity, but His love for them had caused His heart to grieve for the unsightliness of sin in their lives. God was bitter against sin not the people. Because sin had infested the earth, all of creation had to endure the wrath of God righteous anger. God commanded Noah to build an ark. After Noah completed building the ark, God told him to take his family and pairs ...
