WHEN I WENT TO FRANCE!
By Haydn Wright
In the middle of July 2001 we left for France to live and learn to speak French first hand. Our trip lasted four days short of six months, spending two thirds of that time in southern France.
The trip was planned completely against my will and I was never asked for my opinion on the idea, in fact I only found out that we were going to live in France one month before we were scheduled to leave.
Our plans were to first fly to Africa (so we didn’t have to spend a whole day on the plane) for two weeks on a game safari, then to go and see the pyramids in Egypt for four days, then fly onward to France.
