Line them with smooth vinyl matting and secure with double-sided tape. Insert short rods rather than a single long rod. You may also check with your area Wal-Mart. They have hanging rods that give you an instant lower rod which hangs from your existing higher rod if you need additional lower rods. Next, start with a completely empty closet, go through each pile of clothing. If you are not sure something fits, try it on. If it does not fit, put it a pile to donate to one of your favorite charities. Try not to use the excuse most of us use when it comes to parting from our favorite outfits. “When I loose a few extra pounds, I’ll be able to fit into it again.” The general rule to use is if you have not worn it in the past twelve months, chances are you never will again. I know this is a one of the most difficult steps, but you can do it. Tip- Check in your local area-most organizations give a receipt for tax purposes. Now you are ready to begin hanging your garments back in the closet. Check each item for stains as some may set and spread over time. Remove all dry cleaning bags they tend to trap moisture.
