Have you ever thought about how MTV repeats the show over and over again until finally, everyone is talking about it; you somehow end up watching a show, you've never even thought about watching. I've realized that music video channels promote popular bands/shows by picking nearly any type of theme that is considered a "high issues" in the teenage world. Almost every show I know that is popular in the teenage society contains one of these topics: cars, love/sex, gang fights, alcohol/drugs and/or fashion (bling-bling).
