The same diameter corer will be used for all the pieces of the beetroot. This is to make sure the surface area of each beetroot is exactly the same. 2. I will push the corer into the beetroot to withdraw it. 3. I will then measure each of the cylinder shaped beetroots and use a scalpel to cut them equally which will be 1 cm exact. 4.
