The method below is for the experiment I am doing use the temperature of 20 C: 1. I will first need to prepare the beetroot. To do this I will need the white tile and corers. The same diameter corer will be used for all the pieces of the beetroot. This is to make sure the surface area of each beetroot is exactly the same. 2. I will push the corer into the beetroot to withdraw it. 3. I will then measure each of the cylinder shaped beetroots and use a scalpel to cut them equally which will be 1 cm exact. 4. Once I have all the beetroot pieces I will place them in a big beaker, in a water bath. The beaker will contain 250 ml of distilled water. 5.
