But as we have seen Jesus has told us to love one another as if they were our neighbour or ourselves and to treat everyone equally as this is what the way we are in the eyes of God. Despite the many teachings from the bible explaining to us how we should be treating, and act towards everyone, and also how we should be taking good care of others as if they were our own family. The Christians in this world do sometimes still seem to be guilty of cases of prejudice and, or discrimination. Some of the following cases are outlined below. • For years and years, in South Africa the Dutch reformed church supported and backed Apartheid, this system that meant that black people were separated from the white people all of the time and treated as different, like scum. We know this from Jesus’ teachings that this is wrong and completely outlines the love for people that everyone should have, as I have loved you. • When the Europeans were moving into and inhabiting the other countries around the world, they often assassinated the native tribal people and treated and sold them as slaves.
