Am I a media junkie?
...rls and women who were just going out with their friends in the evenings and had ended up getting their drink’s spiked, which put across lots of facts about drug rape and how to avoid it. Or try to. This is a good form of media I feel because if we didn’t have documentaries like this maybe people would be very naïve to drug rape, and their drinks being spiked etc… On Tuesday I did the same – I woke up and turned on the radio, then after college I came back and switched on the TV and flicked through the channels, deciding their was nothing that caught my attention I went onto the internet and spent about an hour or so talking to my friends, then at 6 I watched Friends, a comedy series about 6 best friends who live in New York, this episode focused on Monica and Chandlers secret relationship. Then after another few hours I went back onto the internet and spoke to my friends again, checking my e-mails and e-mailing people back. Wednesday I woke up to Radio One –and then back from college that evening I tuned into one of my favorite shows “Becoming” on MTV, this is a show where MTV transform fans into their favorite singer or band and they re-create a music video. Then later on I watched Nip/Tuck at 10:00, which is a series following the life’s of two plastic surgeons who run a practice together – in this episode, Christians car and boat get vandalized.
