He made designs after designs after designs to try and make a glider that could fly he would uses tail on the gliders for stability and would use lighter and different shaped wings to make air flow better. But the first person to fly one of Cayleys crafty gliders was a young boy. But in 1903 the Wright brothers wanted to take a shot at making humans fly so they studied all the knowledge they could find for their time and preformed many tests to understand how air effect flight and different wing designs until they finally had a glider design ready to build.
