So, his call to adventure is he makes his way to Athens after lifting the heavy rock. He encountered many fierce creatures and insisted on doing things by himself. His test is given to him when Medea tries to kill him. Aegeus ends up saving his son after recognizing the familiar sandals and sword. Another test is given to him when he insists on being one of the seven youths sacrificed to the Minotaur. This leads him to become successful in killing the Minotaur.
